Andrea Buticchi

Andrea Buticchi joined the firm in 2017 and made partner in 2025.

She graduated summa cum laude from University of Parma in 2016, with the dissertation “Copyright and the Web: new frontiers of protection”. After graduating, she worked as an intern at the Federation of European Publishers in Brussels, in the fields of European copyright, consumers’ rights and IT.

In 2019, she attended an LLM programme at Queen Mary University of London, and graduated with the overall mark of Distinction with a dissertation on the destruction of artworks under cultural heritage and copyright laws.

Since 2022, she has become member of the Copyright Committee of the Italian publishers’ association.

She advises Italian and international clients on topics related to Art Law and Copyright and on the export and import of cultural property, also before the Italian Ministry of Culture. She also deals with specific areas of European law, such as the Italian implementation of the CITES legislation concerning antiquities and the legislation on accessibility.

She has published several articles and often lectures on copyright and art law.
